Papaya Seeds for Liver Cirrhosis?

Liver cirrhosis is a disease, usually caused by excessive alcohol consumption over many years or as a result of harmful medications.  With this condition, the liver shrinks and becomes hardened.   Cirrhosis leaves the liver ineffective at removing toxins from the body and could lead to a variety of serious health problems.

Papaya seeds have been reported as an effective treatment for liver cirrhosis. One way to use them is to grind up around 5 dried seeds in a pepper or spice grinder, or crush up fresh ones in a mortar and pestle.  Mix the ground seeds with a tablespoon of fresh lime juice.  Honey might help sweeten the taste.

Drink this papaya seed concoction down 2 times per day for a month. Many cirrhosis sufferers have had dramatic improvements with this powerful natural remedy.

One way to get papaya seeds is to simply buy a fresh papaya.  Keep ones you scrape out in a container in the fridge or freezer.   Even a small papaya fruit yields many seeds and should keep you going for several days.
